Application Instructions

  1. Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column of any screen and follow the instructions.

  2. Sign and send the application agreement statement that appears after you submit the completed online application to the admissions/site office with the nonrefundable $25 application fee.

  3. Have a final, official high school transcript forwarded directly to the admissions/site office from your high school. Students transferring more than fifteen credits from an accredited college or university are exempt from this requirement.

  4. Have official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended forwarded directly to the admissions/site office from the previous institutions.

  5. Submit the Wilmington College health history form, completed and signed by a licensed physician (all full-time students, all education majors, and all nursing majors only).

  6. Students planning to participate in intercollegiate athletics must have official SAT I scores forwarded directly to the admissions/site office.

  7. If you are planning to apply for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and submit it for processing no later than April 1 for the following academic year. Students applying for spring or summer admission may submit the current year application through June for consideration for financial aid for that year. Please allow 8 to 12 weeks for processing.

How to Use the Wilmington College Online Application

To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the application.
